The staff were excellent and very amiable and the location was magnificent in pleasant surroundings. Plus, it was just off an old pub, most areas and the Granite Way cycle path across Dartmoor.

The breakfast was sensational, I would stay there again. The property was spotlessly clean and staff was welcoming. It was based in lovely building in a marvellous location, in a lovely area. And it was also not far from Tavistock, the pub being on the road, and Dartmoor.

The food was excellent. Service was very good. Friendly and approachable owner. The hotel, including room was spotlessly clean.
Bedroom decoration was outdated and colours depressing. The mattress was not the most comfortable.

My room had some sort of generator/AC unit outside the window which was on until 5am. Worst nights sleep in a hotel for a very long time...
